Seruni Beach is located in Tepus District, Gunungkidul Regency and is the second beach after Pok Tunggal Beach developed by the Tepus community. As the name implies that means Gold, Seruni Beach is one of the places where the Tepus people seek fortune.
It has the main attraction in the form of white sand and waterfalls that fall from the cliffs on the coast. However, to watch the view of the waterfall, visitors are advised to come during the rainy season when the flow rate is quite large and heavy.
The condition of Seruni Beach is still quiet and clean because there are not many visitors who know about this beach. Facilities such as bathrooms, food stalls, and parking areas are adequate even though they are still minimal.
At high tide, the Seruni Beach waves are quite large and fulfill a portion of this beach sand area. The visitors are not allowed to swim on the beach because it is quite dangerous. The visitors who come usually just play on the beach while enjoying its beauty and taking pictures.
Since it is adjacent to Pok Tunggal Beach, the route to go to this beach is the same as the route to the Pok Tunggal. From the center of Yogyakarta, it is about 70 km more or less can be reached for two hours by motorcycle. About half a kilometer before the beach will meet a rocky road, to the right is the Pok Tunggal Beach, while the left direction towards the Seruni Beach. Here, you can see the sea from a distance.
