Siung beach is located in Purwodadi village, Tepus district about 35 kilometers from the city of Wonosari. This beach is located in a remote area about 70 kilometers from the city of Yogyakarta. The beautiful beach area and the limestone hills with the steep road is an unforgettable experience during the trip to reach the Siung beach.
In the Siung beach, there are coral reefs at the west and east parts of the beach that used to border with other beaches. This huge coral reef is the main attraction of the beach, and it shows the witness of the triumph of Siung area in the past. Based on the local people, there is a coral reef that resembles the shape of a monkey’s fang or Siung Wanara with wonderful scenery.
Suing beach is popular as a paradise for the cliff climbers. There are 250 climbing routes is available at Siung Beach, and can possibly be added with the consent from the maker of the previous path. Many groups have made use of the climbing routes on this beach. Meanwhile, a group of long-tailed monkeys will descend from the cliff to the beach at night. The long-tailed monkeys that rarer still found on this beach.
