Selarong cave is a historical tourism destination that will remain us about the struggle of Diponegoro prince during the war of Java in 1825 – 1830. There are 2 caves inside Selarong caves. Those are Kakung caves, a place was used to hide by Diponegoro prince and Putri caves, a place occupied by his wife, Raden Ayu Retnoningsih.

Visiting Guwosari tourism village, it won’t be enough if we don’t ever taste the typical culinary of this village, ingkung ayam. We can even say that this Guwosari village becomes the center of ingkung culinary in Bantul. There are about 18 ingkung stalls personally managed or undertaken by Lembaga Permasyarakatan Desa (LPMD). One of the most popular ingkung restaurants in this village is Ingkung Kuali restaurant. Ingkung is a whole chicken dish with areh seasoning that served with a side of rice, sambal, and lalapan (slice of cucumber, cabbage, tomato, etc)

The location of Guwosari tourism village is easy to reach by motor vehicle. This village is only about 15 km from the city center of Yogyakarta or only 13 km from the city center of Bantul. We can find this tourism village easily. From the city center of Yogyakarta, we have to take Bantul street and find Masjid Agung Manunggal. From this place we just need to take the route direction to Pajangan subdistrict.
