A Brief History of Canting Mas Puncak Dipowono
\nThe name of Canting Mas is chosen without any reason. It is believed that there is a hereditary of Nyi Roro Kidul namely Canting Mas and Tampah mas. There is another tale version related to the war between Bandung Bondowoso and Prabu Boko. This story tell that Bandung Bondowoso planned to have a puppet show on the mountain that\u2019s located close to the Menoreh hill, but on the way to get to the location, Bandung Bondowoso and his followers were blocked by Prabu Boko, and the end of the story all of the Bandung Bondowoso partisan were preyed by Prabu Boko. The incident left some belongings that would be used in the wayang performance. One of those belongings is Dupa; therefore this area is also called Canting Mas Puncak Dipowono.<\/p>\n

\nSince this tourist destination was reopened the end of 2019, Canting Mas offers more complete facilities. Toilets, mushola, gazebo, parking area, food court area, and homestay are available here. You don’t need to worry about losing signal because there is Wi-Fi in this place. Isn\u2019t it such as a complete facility? You have to make sure also that you have already serviced your vehicle, coming because the road is quite winding and has up and down track. If you want to try to get a new experience, you can rent a jeep offered from Sermo reservoir. This Jeep offers a series of trips not only in Canting Mas, but also in Kalibiru, Sermo Reservoir, Kiskendo Cave, and other tourist sites that are not far from Canting Mas. By jeep, you can enjoy cool mountain atmosphere and see beautiful nature scenery on the right and left of the road.
