Gunungkidul always has new beaches to be enjoyed. Including this Ngedan Beach. This beach is one of the tourist destinations that are starting to improve to attract the tourist visitation. This beach is one of the white sandy beaches with an exotic view.
This beach is located in Bedalo Hamlet, Krambil Sawit Village, Saptosari District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, 55871. Ngedan Beach is located between Ngobaran Beach in the east and Butuh Beach in the west.
Getting to this tourist attraction can only be reached by using a private vehicle. There is no public transportation available to this place. From the parking lot visitors have to walk and pass the path down of the hill.
The entrance ticket to the Ngedan Beach area is affordable. With only Rp. 5000, – you can enjoy the beautiful beach which is flanked by hills. In addition, there are affordable parking facilities for 2-wheeled and 4-wheeled vehicles. There are also other facilities such as food stalls with public toilets, prayer rooms and gazebos to rest.
This beach is not too wide but sloping and comfortable. Around the beach, there are groves of trees and coral hills. Even though it is located in a bay it doesn’t block the sea breeze from blowing here. With white sand beaches and large enough sea waves with rocks make this beach beautiful to enjoy. Visitors can enjoy the waves on the beach while enjoying the beauty of the coral rocks.
The large number of rocks makes Ngedan Beach have many fish hidden behind coral rocks. Visitors who have a hobby of fishing are allowed to fish there too. Apart from fishing, visitors can also do camping activity on this beach. For those who like sunset views, you can go up to the top of the hill flanking Ngedan Beach. Visitors can go up to the hill for enjoying beautiful views of the beach and sea, and also could enjoy a beautiful sunset view.
