In De Matra Trick Eye Museum, the visitors can feel the sensation of the three dimensions with any kind of pose and amazing background that looks like so real. Being called as the third biggest trick eye museum in the world, there are 120 of the three dimension images in XT square Yogyakarta while there are only 70 images maximally in the foreign country’s museum.
The presence of De Mata Trick Eye Museum in XT square become new, unique, and spectacular thing because it’s the fisrt and the only one trick eye museum in Yogyakarta even in Central Java. This museum is really unique because it provides various images which its theme are like nature, sports, famous figure, animals, super hero, romance, circus, various artistic ornament, Taman Sari Tourist object and also the spectale of Keraton Yogyakarta
Occupying the basement area of Jogja XT Square, the placement of the three dimensions images brings the concept of a labyrinth so the visitors won’t feel bored easily. Most of those artistic work are from Petrus Kusuma and there are also the arts made by the university student of ISi Yogyakarta
De MATA De ARCA museum has a new facility namely DWalik. The administrator of DWalik provides almost 30 facilities inside. Keeping bringing the concept of illusions room and becoming the Museum of Illusion ‘Upside Down House’ which has the biggest colletion in Indonesia, DWalik is ready to give you a new color.
One of the facilities provided in DWalik is Horror Room which has the concept of the scary bloddy room. The sensation of taking the picture in this museum would be such an unforgettable experience. The property of bloody skull that’s full of termites would give you really frightening impression.
There’s not only Horror Room, there are also Anti-Gravity, Disco room that has been really well organize so it could give the different impression for the visitors who want to take the picture. In addition, the Barber room that brings the concept of the 90th era will be ready to give you the different sensation. Angkringan room where you can find the grobak and its food of nasi kucing and also anglo is also a nice facility you must try. The visitors can interact also with anykind of properties provided in every museum rooms. They can pose dan express their self freely.
DWalik has also facilities of De Mata Studio with greenscreen technology. Unlike the greenscreen that has been installed in De MATA 2, this De MATA studio carries out quite anti-mainstream theme which offres the more interesting editing effect. There is also photo package for the visitors who want to take the picture by using professional photographer.
It’s not only about the opening of the new facilities in De ARCA, but there are also the new eight statues. Avatar Jack & Neytiri of about 3 meters high are ready to be photographed. Being supported by the typical 3D Artworks of De MATA, it could give such a nice supporting photography background for the visitors. The figure of Star Wars, Darth Varder is also ready if you want to have selfie with it. There is also Wolverine with his claws in De ARCA Museum
So, now, for the visitors who want to take picture with Sultan Kosen, the highest human, or with Chandra Dangi, the shortest human, or also with Maurine Uribe, the biggest person in the world, they are also in De ARCA Museum.
There is also something new in De ARCA. The application of AR De ARCA is also launched. AR de ARCA will give the information for the visitors about the statues provided in De ARCA. AR application can be downloaded freely in Play Store.
The entrance ticket is quite expensive. It costs IDR 120.000,- on Monday – Saturday and IDR 140.000, on Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday. Don’t worry, on Monday – Friday before 3 p.m the visitors can get happy hour price of IDR 100.000,-. They can go around all the spots provided in this museum.
