Setawing Jonggrangan waterfall is also often referred to by local residents with Grojogan / Curug Ngisor Tawing because grojogan (waterfall) is under tawing (cliff) , then it named Setawing Waterfall. This waterfall is located approximately 500 m from Jonggrangan Market, access to this waterfall is still a cement cast path. Location to the waterfall from the motorcycle parking area is approximately 100 m. In fact, motorcycle can be brought to the bottom of the waterfall, but for the sake of security and comfort it is better to keep it in the parking area that is already available.
The Origin of Setawing Waterfall

This waterfall comes from various water sources that are above it, the shape of this waterfall resembles a staircase (steps) from above has 3x steps so that the effect of the falling water does not immediately fall down, but from the first step it hits the second step and then down, so the effect of the water splash and the wind blows are very relaxing. However, the obstacle of this waterfall is that water flows is not always heavy.

When dry season the water is decreased because the water sources run out for people’s daily needs. In the future, it is might be possible to engineer water from above in order to the water discharge can always be available continuously. This waterfall was officially opened for tourism starting from the end of 2004.
