Kadisobo II Tourism Village is located in Turi Street 4,5, Trimulyo, Sleman, Yogyakarta. From the city center you can go to the north to Magelang street and pass Dengung crossroad, follow the route until you find Turi T-junction. From Turi T- junction you have to turn right around 2,3 meters until you find the route direction to Kadisobo II Tourism Village.
Before it becomes as famous as now, Kadisobo Tourism Village started the debut as tourism village used for fishing. But, it was failed because the fishes were poisoned. The enthusiasm of the locals to advance tourism potential is so strong, so that they found new idea to make the village area becoming a location for holding hobby-based events. So the first event held was a national bird contest. This event was held because many locals have an interest in birds. Unexpectedly the bird competition got a huge success by generating extraordinary income for the village. So, this event was made as the icon of Kadisobo II Village and every evening there is held chirp training by the bird-lovers community.
Starting from the success of holding a bird competition, the locals tried make the village to being more attractive in order to get more visitors. New tourism ideas were made by developing culinary tourism and making salak as its icon, pioneering educational tourism for children, and arranging outbound packages which always becomes an attraction in the tourism village.
Tranquil Rural Atmosphere In the Slopes of the Mountain
As a tourism village which is located on the Merapi Mountain Slope, This village offer beautiful natural scenery of the countryside and fresh mountain air. One of the icons of the Kadisobo II Tourism Village is its culinary. The Unique and iconic dish of Gudeg salak will absolutely please your tongue. You might be surprised when you hear about Gudeg salak, because usually Gudeg is made from jackfruit or raw manggar. But here the Gudeg offered is different from other gudeg. The complete of Gudeg Salak consiste of rice, Gudeg salak, shredded chicken, and eggs. Gudeg Salak is available from 07.00 to 08.00.
Educational Tourism
Kadisobo Tourism Village provides a complete and suitable package tour for all ages. Educational tours are available so we can learn farming activities directly. We will be invited to go down to the fields for planting rice and fishing.
