Gunungkidul is known for its natural attractions that seemed inexhaustible. Starting from a row of white sand beaches that are suitable for relaxing to line up caves that can be used as an adrenaline tour, of which one is the Kalisuci Cliff.
It is located in Karst Gunungsewu area that has become one of the world’s natural heritages. Indonesia might be proud of that because there are only three natural attractions like in Kalisuci in the world, namely in Mexico, New Zealand, and Indonesia.
In the Kalisuci, tourists will be invited to explore the underground river cave Kalisuci using a float known as cave tubing, which is a combination of caving and body rafting.
Before doing activities, the tourists will be explained in advance about cave tubing activity in Kalisuci. Next, they will be given an instruction and equipment such as life jackets, headlamps, helmets, knee and leg safety and buoy tires.
During the trip, they can feel how fresh and clear river is while enjoying such an amazing stalagmite and stalactite ornaments. In addition, the river flows, sturdy karst cliffs and not forgetting the river rapids that add an excitement during the trip. The activity of this cave stretch takes approximately 1.5 hours with a track length of around 700 meters in the form of three open rivers and 2 river caves.
