A beautiful beach area through the sharp turns surrounded by limestone hills along the way. Siung Beach is administratively included in the Tepus District, Gunung Kidul Regency, including remote areas. Radius 70 km from Yogyakarta.

The route taken through the Yogyakarta-Wonosari route continues to Wonosari-Baron and Baron-Tepus that is the easiest route to pass, the road has been paved smoothly and perfectly. For other routes, such as Yogyakarta-Imogiri-Gunung Kidul, it is more challenging because there are many potholes.

Coral reef found in the west and east of the coast is not only a border with other beaches. The giant corals are the main attraction of this Siung Beach area and are the basis for naming the beach and witnessing the glory of coastal areas in the past. According to local residents, there is one reef that resembles an ape tooth or called it as Siung Wanara. This rock has a very dramatic view, a combination of large waves that hit it until each gap and it is followed by the sea water that flowing slowly.

It is a paradise for rock climbers, as many as 250 climbing routes are available and possibly can be added. Many groups of rock climbers have used the path on this beach to hone their skills. When the night or when visitors are quiet, a group of long-tailed monkeys will descend from the top of the cliff to the beach. Long-tailed macaques that are now increasingly rare are still often found on this beach. The presence of long-tailed macaques may also be one of the reasons why the rocks that be the basis of naming are matched with the apes teeth, not other types of animals.
