The Unique History of  Kopi Jos Lik Man

When this jos coffee first appeared, it was an experiment by Lik Man based on orders from customers who didn’t know what they were ordering. It so happened that Lik Man had been tasked to make kopi Klothok (coffee).

Kopi Klothok is coffee made by cooking coffee and then dousing it with water. At the time, Lik Man couldn’t make it because she didn’t know-how. To keep making coffee for his customers, Lik Man came up with a way to make it look like the coffee was peeling. He put charcoals in a glass of coffee and put them to look like they were peeling. This is what he called Kopi Klothok.

It turns out that this coffee has even become a new kind of drink. When charcoals and coffee are mixed, a sound is heard. Other than that, the customer wanted to know what kind of coffee this sounds like. It tastes good and even tastes better and is different from Kopi Klothok. Finally, the term “Kopi Jos ” was used. To be able to enjoy it, you only need to spend Rp. 5 thousand. This is how much it costs to enjoy it.
