The charm of Krokoh Beach

Krokoh Beach presents a view that you rarely find on the usual beaches, although the access to this beach is still quite steep, but it will be very worth it when we reach the beach. The combination of coral hills, waves, and white sand gives a very extraordinary sensation. This reef can basically be used as a beautiful photo spot to add to your personal collection, especially when the water recedes, the corals on the beach are very clearly visible. But you should still be careful because many sea urchins are hiding in between the corals. It is certainly very satisfying and can make us forget the problems we have.

The recommended time to visit this beach is in the morning before 6 am, because from the beach there are cliffs that can be climbed to see the sunrise view on this beach. In addition, you can spend longer on this beach because you have come from the morning. The beauty of this beach is best enjoyed in the morning. If you don’t want to leave too early from the city center, maybe you can choose the option to camp there, and wake up early to enjoy the sunrise.

Krokoh Beach Facilities

The facilities at this beach are not as complete and adequate as at other popular beaches in Jogja. This is because this beach is still not so untouched and the access is still in the form of a two-lane cast that is sufficient for cars and motorbikes. However, the parking lot is close to the beach so you don’t have to walk far from the parking area to the beach. This beach also provides toilets to rinse off when finished playing water on the beach. If you are hungry, don’t worry, because around this beach there are stalls owned by local residents that provide food and beverage snacks.

So don’t worry if you don’t bring food or drinks from home when coming to Krokoh Beach. Although the road to this beach is quite extreme up and down and still dominates the forestry, it is worth the beauty of the view when you get there!
